Willibald Eigner (born January 1, 1948 in Weidling ) is an Austrian architect and politician ( ÖVP ). The owner is married and has two children. From April 24, 2003 to November 16, 2016, he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

Eigner attended elementary and secondary school, from which he graduated with the Matura. He then studied architecture at the Vienna University of Technology and passed the civil engineering examination. He is the owner of his own architectural office. In 1988 the owner was elected to the local council, from 1990 to 2003 he was a councilor in Klosterneuburg. The owner has the function of the local party chairman in Weidling, is a member of the parish party board and a member of the district party board. Owner has been a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament since August 13, 2003.

After the resignation of the mayor of Klosterneuburg, Gottfried Schuh , the ÖVP Klosterneuburg appointed Eigner as his successor. He was supposed to take office in autumn 2009, but the nomination was withdrawn after a loss of confidence in the course of the Villa Meran building scandal . Instead, Stefan Schmuckenschlager became mayor.
