Willibald Müller

Willibald Müller (born March 9, 1845 in Wildschütz near Jauernig , Austrian Silesia ; † December 8, 1919 in Freiwaldau , Czechoslovakia ) was an Austrian writer and librarian who dealt with the local history of Moravia .

Life

Müller studied philosophy in Vienna from 1865 . After working as court master in Prague and Constantinople, Müller began working as a journalist in 1873 . So he founded the magazine Moravia and headed the daily newspaper Neue Zeit in Olomouc . In Olomouc, Müller was director of the university library from 1879 to 1915, but was also involved in other municipal matters, such as housing subsidies.
