Willie Lee Snead IV (* 17th October 1992 in Winter Park , Florida ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Baltimore Ravens as a wide receiver .

college

Snead attended Ball State University and played for their team, the Cardinals, successful college football , scoring a total of 26 touchdowns . He was one of the best receivers in the history of his university and is among the all-time top three in the central statistics.

NFL

Snead was not included in the 2014 NFL Draft , but was hired as a free agent by the Cleveland Browns . He took part in all of the preparation, also played in the preseason pre-season games, but was dismissed just before the start of the season. At the end of September he was accepted by the Carolina Panthers in their Practice Squad , but soon retired.

New Orleans Saints

From December 2014 increased Snead the practice squad of the New Orleans Saints . In the 2015 season he made it into the Saints team and was also used regularly. In his first season, he ran 984 yards and scored three touchdowns.

On September 1, 2017, he was banned from the league for three games for drunk driving. After this suspension he was only used sporadically and was only able to record eight pass catches for 92 yards in eleven games .

Baltimore Ravens

In April 2018 Snead signed with the Baltimore Ravens a two-year contract in the amount of 10.4 million US dollars . If he only managed one touchdown in the first season, he showed a great improvement in 2019 and was able to achieve five touchdowns.
