The Willow River is one of three rivers of that name in the north of the US -amerikanischen state of Minnesota .
The Willow River is an approximately 72 km long tributary of the Mississippi River . Its source is Big Rice Lake , in the Chippewa National Forest in southeast Cass County . In its course it passes Haypoint and flows into Aitkin County , 19 km northwest of Aitkin , in the Mississippi.
