Willow Smith
Willow Camille Reign Smith (born October 31, 2000 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American singer and actress . She is the daughter of Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith . Willow Smith is the younger sister of Jaden and the half-sister of Trey Smith.
Career
In the film I Am Legend , she played at the side of her father (also in the film are both father and daughter) and was honored for her performance in the Young Artist Awards 2008 in the category Best Performance in a TV Series - actor to 10 years or younger nominated . In the same year she starred in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl , her second film, and was voice actress in the animated film Madagascar 2 . In the latter, her mother also had a role as a voice actress.
Since September 2010 she has been under contract with Roc Nation, a music agency founded by rapper Jay-Z . Her first single Whip My Hair was released that same month . Her brother Jaden Smith has a cameo role in the music video. It debuted at number 2 on the Yahoo video charts and made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 straight away .
On September 30, 2011, she released her first self-written song, "The Epiphany", on her official Facebook account. In December 2015 her debut album "ARDIPITHECUS" was released. Their second album, "The 1st", was released in October 2017. On July 20, 2018, the music video "My Life" by ZHU and Tame Impala , in which Willow Smith played the leading role, was released. Together with her mother and grandmother, she hosts the web show "Red Table Talk", which can be seen on Facebook Watch . On this show, the three discuss topics such as motherhood, mental health problems and love with regularly changing guest stars. On July 19, 2019, Willow Smith released her third studio album, Willow .
