In the summer of 1999, he was drawn to Olympique Nîmes in Ligue 2 , France's second-highest division. Here he completed 25 missions and scored twice for Nîmes. However, his time here was not forever, so he finally switched to Servette Geneva , where he ran 49 times in two years and was successful twelve times. In the summer of 2002 he moved back to France, this time to FC Sochaux , where he stayed for three years before moving to Olympique Marseille in 2005 on a free transfer . In the summer of 2008 he then signed a contract with the French second division club EA Guingamp , with which Wilson Oruma was able to celebrate winning the French Cup ten months later . On July 27, 2009 he signed a one-year contract with the Greek first division promoted AO Kavala. There he ended his career in the summer of 2010.
