Windischengrün is a district of the town of Schauenstein in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .
Windischengrün is on the state road St 2194 between Schauenstein and Baiergrün or Pillmersreuth . In 1978 the municipality of Windischengrün, to which Uschertsgrün also belonged, was incorporated into Schauenstein; the old community was part of the Naila district until 1972 . Architectural monuments in the village are several residential stable houses that are characteristic of the region , some with half-hip roofs and dormers .
