Weberhausmuseum Neudorf

Neudorf (colloquially: Naidorf ) is a district of the town of Schauenstein in the Upper Franconian district of Hof in Bavaria .

Neudorf is on the state road St 2693 between Leupoldsgrün and Schauenstein or Helmbrechts .

history

The field name Kapellacker in the village indicates a medieval chapel on the connecting road. The place name refers to a late foundation of the place - in the immediate vicinity there are desert areas such as Lauterbach , Reuschen , Schönberg , Schönau and Wüstengrün .

In 1850 there were 16 weaver families in the village ; In addition, weaving was operated in eight farming families as a sideline . Neudorf was incorporated into Schauenstein on July 1, 1972 as part of the municipal reform.
