Volkmannsgrün is a district of the town of Schauenstein in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .

Volkmannsgrün is on State Road St 2195 between Helmbrechts and Schauenstein. The road forks in the village. Here is the start of the state road St 2693 , which continues via Neudorf to Leupoldsgrün . Side roads lead to Edlendorf and Dorschenhammer .

The Lauterbach desert is located northeast of Volkmannsgrün immediately north of the state road . The Grub desert lies in the southwest of the village .
