The Windmühlenberg is 86.1  m above sea level. NHN high elevation of the northwestern foothills of the Calvör Mountains . It lies between Wegenstedt and Keindorf in the municipal areas of Calvörde and Oebisfelde-Weferlingen in the Saxony-Anhalt district of Börde .

The Windmühlenberg rises in the northwestern foothills of the Calvör Mountains. It is located north of Wegenstedt and southwest of Mannhausen (both to Calvörde) and northeast of Etingen near Keindorf (both to Oebisfelde-Weferlingen). While the majority of the "mountain" belongs to the municipality of Calvörde, parts of its northwest flank are in the municipality of Oebisfelde-Weferlingen - directly near Keindorf. To the northeast is the Wahrberg ( 72.5  m ), to the east-northeast the Rosenberg ( 75.5  m ), to the east of the Saalberg ( 86.7  m ) and to the south-southeast, the neighboring Grüttenberg ( 78.9  m ). District road  1136 (Mannhausen – Wegenstedt) runs a little southeast past the Windmühlenberg .

Natural allocation

The Windmühlenberg belongs to the natural spatial main unit group Weser-Aller-Flachland (No. 62), in the main unit East Brunswick Plain (624) and in the subunit Obisfelder-Calvörde terminal moraine plates (624.5) to the natural area Calvörn Hügelland (624.53).

The Windmühlenberg is partly covered by agricultural land and partly by coniferous forest.
