The wind farm Sindersdorf is a section taken in 2016 in operating wind farm in the Bavarian municipality of Hilpoltstein in Germany .

Geographical location

The wind farm is located on the Jura plateau of the southern Franconian Jura between the districts of Pierheim in the north, Jahrsdorf in the west and Sindersdorf in the southeast on the Lettenfeld. Bundesautobahn 9 and the ICE route Nuremberg-Munich run about 100 meters west of the wind farm .

operator

The operator is the Munich-based energy supply company Green City Energy AG . Construction began in November 2015 and the first system went online in March 2016. The official inauguration took place on June 21, 2016 as part of a community festival.

technology

For use two come wind turbines of the type GE 120 to 2.75 with a capacity of 2.75 MW, a rotor diameter of 120 meters and a hub height of 139 meters. This results in a total height of the systems of 199 meters. The forecast annual electricity generation is approx. 12  GWh , which corresponds to the annual electricity demand of 3,500 households.
