Winfried Lichtscheidel (born March 25, 1980 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German organist and Catholic church musician .
education
Winfried Lichtscheidel received organ lessons from Siegmar Junker, Veronika Weber and Thiemo Janssen while at school . After graduation and subsequent community service in the cath. Parish St. Canisius in Friedrichshafen , he studied from 2000 to 2010 Catholic church music and organ as an artistic major at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart (u. A. Organ with Bernhard Haas and Ludger Lohmann , organ improvisation with Willibald Bezler and Hans Martin Corrinth , conducting with Dieter Kurz ). Since 2010 Winfried Lichtscheidel has been a church musician at St. Martinus and Ludgerus in Sendenhorst and leader of the concert series "Sendenhorster Orgelherbst at the Woehl Organ". As an organist, Winfried Lichtscheidel has given concerts at festivals in several European countries. He is particularly interested in the organs of the Marburg organ builder Gerald Woehl . He wrote his diploma thesis on aspects of the conception of Gerald Woehl's organs . He recorded several CDs on the Woehl organ in St. Martin in Sendenhorst, including the complete recording of Ch.-M.'s 10 organ symphonies, which was awarded the German Record Critics Prize.
