The winter sports center Khanty-Mansiysk, named after Alexander Vasilyevich Filipenko ( Russian Центр зимних видов спорта в Ханты-Мансийске имени А.В. Филипенко , English: AV Filipenko Winter Sports Center ) is a biathlon venue in Khanty-Mansiysk (Russia). The Biathlon World Cup final took place here, alternating with the Holmenkollen in Oslo . From the 2016/17 season , Tyumen will take over the Khanty-Mansiysk competitions for an indefinite period.
history
In 2003 and 2011 biathlon world championships took place in the Nordic Ski Center . In addition, World Championships in mixed teams were held in 2005 and 2010.
