The Osrblie Biathlon Arena in Osrblie ( Slovakia ) is one of the smallest biathlon facilities in the world.

history

The biathlon and cross-country skiing stadium, built around 1980, has been in the IBU Cup (formerly the European Cup) almost every year since it opened in 1981 or, more rarely, in the Biathlon World Cup . The 2009/2010 Biathlon World Cup was canceled due to financing problems and was relocated to Pokljuka ( Slovenia ). The next international championships were the 2012 European Biathlon Championships .
