description

The single-storey, complete with barn and gazebo vorgebauter listed farmhouse is traufständig the valley side streets nearby. The plastered building has a jamb and a tile-covered gable roof . At the back, facing the mountain, at a right angle is a stable and barn building attached to the left with a one-sided, also tiled, half-hip roof . On the mountain side there is a barn entrance that leads to the upper floor of the barn. There is a vaulted cellar under the driveway.

On the right there is a simple gate entrance with pillars, each of which is protected by a cover plate.

history

Johann David Schwedler, after whom the farm takes its name, applied for the construction of a small, free-standing outbuilding in February 1879. At that time, both the house and the barn already existed. In 1913, the stable and barn was added.

In the 2000s, the current owner, master winemaker Steffen Rößler, acquired the Dreiseithof , which was in dire need of renovation, and renovated it in order to run its own winery there as Winzerhof Rößler . In 2011, grapes from around one hectare of vineyards were processed into 8000 bottles from several individual layers. The barn is used as a so-called "wine barn"; it now contains the wine cellar and the bottle store.
