Wioletta Frankiewicz

Wioletta Frankiewicz (temporarily: Janowska ; born June 9, 1977 in Piotrków Trybunalski ) is a former Polish athlete . She starts in both medium and long-distance runs , but then specialized in the obstacle course .

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she came over 1500 meters to the semi-finals, and at the World Athletics Championships in 2005 she finished 14th in the 3000 meter obstacle course.

At the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg in 2006 , she won the bronze medal over 3000 meters obstacle, but the following year she was eliminated at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka both over 1500 meters and in the obstacle course in the preliminary round.

Wioletta Frankiewicz is 1.77 m tall and weighs 59 kg. She has won numerous Polish championship titles, including four times in the 5000-meter run (2002, 2004, 2007, 2008) and once in the 10,000-meter run (2008). In addition, she holds the world best time on the rarely run 2000 meter obstacle distance (6: 03.38 min).
