Werdenum ( West Frisian Wurdum ) in the Dutch province of Friesland is a village of 1,205 inhabitants in the municipality of Leeuwarden .

The Sint-Martinuskerk of the PKN was built around 1200. It shows Romanesque , Gothic and more recent style elements. The nave has a polygonal finish at both ends. Opposite the tower built on the side there is a transept, so that the nave is T-shaped and the overall plan of the church is cross-shaped.
