The Wispe is a left tributary of the Leine in the Lower Saxony districts of Holzminden and Hildesheim .

The 12 km long stream has its source near Wenzen im Hils . From there it flows first in a north-west and south of Kaierde in a north-easterly direction through Kaierde, Delligsen and Imsen . It flows into the Leine on the eastern outskirts of Wispenstein , a district of the town of Alfeld (Leine) .

In Delligsen the Glasebach flows into the Wispe.
