Vladimir Anatolyevich Pronin
Wladimir Anatoljewitsch Pronin , Russian Владимир Анатольевич Пронин , engl. Transcription Vladimir Pronin , (born May 27, 1969 in Moscow ) is a former Russian obstacle and long-distance runner .
In total he was eight times national champion over 3000 m obstacle (1992-1997, 1999, 2000). In 1993 he was also the Russian indoor champion over 3000 m .
In 1993 he was eliminated from the 3000 m obstacle course at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart and won silver at the Universiade . In the same discipline he was fifth at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1994 and seventh at the 1995 World Championships in Gothenburg. At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta he was eliminated in the preliminary round, at the 1997 World Championships in Athens he reached the semi-finals, and at the 2000 Olympic Games he did not get beyond the preliminary round.
In 1992 he won the New Year's Eve run in Munich .
