Vladimir Borissowitsch Antipow ( Russian Владимир Борисович Антипов ; born January 14, 1978 in Apatity , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HK CSKA Sofia .
Career
Antipow began his career with the Russian first division club Lokomotive Yaroslavl , for which he played until 1999. During the NHL Entry Draft 1996 he was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fourth round in a total of 103rd place. In 1999 he switched to the St. John's Maple Leafs , which he left again in 2000 and returned to Yaroslavl. He left this again in 2006 and was obliged by Salawat Julajew Ufa . Between 2006 and 2011 he played for Salawat in the Super League and Continental Hockey League , winning the Russian championship in 2008 and 2011 .
In the summer of 2011, he moved together with Alexander Ryazantsev within the KHL to HK Tractor Chelyabinsk , where he was appointed team captain. Two years later he left the club and was signed by Severstal Tscherepowez , where he acted as the team's captain until January 1, 2014. He was then without a club before he was signed by HK ZSKA Sofia for the second round of the IIHF Continental Cup 2014/15 and played for CSKA in three games.
