Vladimir Ivanovich Sinjawski (born November 18, 1932 - December 27, 2012 in Kiev ) was a Soviet wrestler . He was world champion in 1959 and winner of a silver medal at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome in free style in lightweight.

Career

Vladimir Sinjawski, a Ukrainian from Kiev , began wrestling in free style as a teenager. It took a relatively long time before he could assert himself in the Soviet Union against the strong competition there. In 1957 he first drew attention to himself when he took 1st place in front of L. Kolesnik from Leningrad a . A. Galustjan from Azerbaijan took. In the same year he also won the III. After this championship, Vladimir Sinjawski was no longer at the start in international championships.
