Wolf gang

Wolf Gang is a British band active in alternative rock and symphonic rock . After several different personnel configurations around the band frontman Max McElligott , the current ensemble around McElligott settled in 2009 together with the drummer Lasse Petersen from The Rakes and the bassist Gavin Slater from Ghosts .

Appearances

After touring with Florence and the Machine , Miike Snow and Metric , Wolf Gang went on to tour the UK solo (including a sold out appearance on London's White Heat Night). In September 2010 the band embarked on their first international tour, which included an appearance at the Parklife Festival in Australia .

Wolf Gang also made an appearance at the NME Awards in February 2011 in support of The Naked and Famous . The band also appeared as support for Editors on March 26, 2011 at the Royal Albert Hall at a benefit concert for the Teenage Cancer Trust .

Its biggest show played Wolf Gang in June 2011 as support for The Killers in Hyde Park of London as part of Hard Rock Calling . Other festivals the band has attended include Rock en Seine , Lowlands and London Calling in Amsterdam .

Wolf Gang recently participated in Arthur's Day Music Festival, a series of musical events across Ireland where bands can play a number of performances the exact number of which is previously unknown to the audience. Here they played alongside Aloe Blacc, Ed Sheeran and Scissor Sisters in Dublin in the sold-out Olympia Theater .

Discography

While they were originally signed to Neon Gold , Wolf Gang currently works for Atlantic Records . The band's debut album, Suego Faults , was written and recorded entirely by McElligott, a co-production of McElligotts and Dave Friedmann . It was released in July 2011. The band has been working on their second album since August 2011, which, however, has not yet had a title.
