Wolfgang Klöckner (born June 22, 1947 ; † 2015 ) was a German soccer player .

Career

Klöckner started at 1. FC Mönchengladbach with football games and denied the season 1966/67 when Rheydter SV in the third-tier Verbandsliga Niederrhein , before the Bundesliga newly promoted Aachen Alemannia has been committed. As a 20-year-old striker , he had strong competition in Hans-Jürgen Ferdinand , top striker for Aachen, as well as in Herbert Gronen and Karl-Heinz Krott . He played his only Bundesliga game on August 26, 1967 (2nd matchday) in the 0-1 defeat in the away game against Borussia Dortmund . Since he was unable to assert himself, he moved to Bonner SC , for which he played the 1968/69 season in the then second-rate Regionalliga West point games.
