Karl-Heinz Krott (born May 6, 1942 ) is a former German soccer player .

The striker began his career with the amateur club SG Eschweiler in the third-class association league Mittelrhein, where he even became the league's top scorer in the 1963/64 season. In 1967, Karl-Heinz Krott moved to the Bundesliga newcomer Alemannia Aachen , for which he was active until 1970. In addition to the amateur from Eschweiler, the other newcomers Horacio Troche , Juan Carlos Borteiro , Karl-Heinz Bechmann , Reinhold Straus and Wolfgang Klöckner also came to the Tivoli . He made his debut in the Bundesliga on matchday 1 of the 1967/68 season when he came on as a substitute in the 66th minute in the 4-0 defeat against Bayern Munich . In addition to his offensive colleagues Hans-Jürgen Ferdinand (25 sp./16 t.), Alfred Glenski (21-9), Herbert Gronen (32-2) and Heinz-Gerd Klostermann (25-4), he made 25 Bundesliga appearances in his debut season and scored seven goals. In the 1968/69 season he was German runner-up behind FC Bayern Munich with Alemannia Aachen under coach Michael Pfeiffer . In this successful year of Alemannia, he came to only seven league appearances due to the offensive newcomers Roger Claessen , Ion Ionescu , Hans-Josef Kapellmann and Werner Tebruck . A year later, 1969/70, however, the relegation from the Bundesliga followed. Ex-national player Georg Stollenwerk had replaced Michael Pfeiffer as coach before the start of the round, but he was replaced in December with 11:21 points in 17th place by Willibert Weth and Krott had made 20 league appearances and scored three goals in his third Bundesliga season. The attacker played his last Bundesliga game on March 30, 1970 in the 6-2 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Karl-Heinz Krott played a total of 52 Bundesliga games and scored ten goals in that time. One of the highlights of his time at Alemannia was the trip to South America, which lasted from June 14 to July 6, 1968, with the games against Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte, Flamengo, Guarany Asuncion, Nacional Montevideo and Newell's Old Boys Rosario. He ended his contract playing career in the summer of 1970 and returned to his home club SG Eschweiler, for which he was active until 1978.
