Wolfgang Stefan

Wolfgang Stefan (born January 12, 1961 in Vohenstrauß, Upper Palatinate ) is a German sculptor and painter .

biography

After his apprenticeship as a ceramic modeler at Hutschenreuther, Wolfgang Stefan studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg from 1983 to 1989 . After his academic diploma in 1989, he worked as a freelance sculptor and worked as a designer for various companies in the glass and porcelain sector in addition to teaching at the stonemason school in Wunsiedel . In 1990 he received the Friedrich Baur Prize from the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts . In the Fichtel Mountains in particular , Wolfgang Stefan is known for numerous works and exhibitions.
