Wolfgang Zeiske

Wolfgang Zeiske (born May 30, 1920 in Görlitz - Moys ; † November 6, 1975 in Augustenberg near Krakow am See ) was a German writer.

Zeiske studied in Gießen and Rostock and was the author of numerous children's books that mainly dealt with natural and animal stories. This included, among other things, the series “Forester Grünrock tells ...” He also wrote numerous guides and fish-history books aimed at anglers and detective novels . Many of his books were repeatedly reprinted in the GDR .

Wolfgang Zeiske's study in the manor house in Hinrichshof was included in the district's list of monuments by the district of Güstrow .
