Bärbel Wolfmeier

Bärbel Wolfmeier (* 1966 in Flensburg , Schleswig-Holstein ) is a German radio presenter and Low German author and poetry slam poet .

Life

Bärbel Wolfmeier grew up in the Schleswig Geest with the Low German language. However, their mother tongue is standard German . After finishing school, she trained as a dental assistant and then worked in this profession.

At the age of 30, Wolfmeier began writing short stories and poems , mostly in Low German. Her texts have also been published in many anthologies , including the magazine Das Gedicht 22 . Her books with stories, short stories and poems were published by Quickborn-Verlag in Hamburg .

Wolfmeier has been working for NDR 1 Welle Nord since 2014 as an author and spokesperson for the series Hör mal 'n prayen to . In addition, she goes on tour with her own programs , sometimes with the folk singer and guitarist Inge Lorenzen .

Bärbel Wolfmeier is the 2nd chairwoman of the Association of Writers in Schleswig-Holstein eV She lives in Stelle-Wittenwurth , is married and has five children.
