Wolfram Graf

Wolfram Graf (born December 20, 1965 in Dornstetten ) is a German composer , pianist and organist .

Life

Graf began his training with a general course at the Freie Hochschulkolleg Stuttgart . He studied organ with Leo Krämer and composition with Theo Brandmüller at the music academies in Karlsruhe and Saarbrücken and musicology , religious studies and ethnology at the University of Bayreuth , where he received his doctorate in 2002 with a dissertation on the Dutch composer Leopold van der Pals .

Wolfram Graf lives in Hof and is married. Together with Helmut Bieler , he leads the concert series Time for New Music in Bayreuth . He teaches organ playing, music theory and composition at the University and the University for Protestant Church Music in Bayreuth .
