Wolfram White

Wolfram Weisse (born May 31, 1945 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German Protestant theologian.

Life

He studied in Hamburg, Mainz and Montpellier : theology (full course), history / social studies and pedagogy (teacher training course). In 1971 he passed the first state examination for teaching at grammar schools. After completing his doctorate in the DFG special research area "Self-Understanding and Function of Christianity in Overseas Societies" in 1971-1974, he completed his legal clerkship in Hamburg from 1974-75 and was a teacher from 1975-1982 and from 1978 coordinator (department head in the position of director of studies ) for the secondary level I. From 1982 to 1988 he was a university assistant in the department of education at the University of Hamburg for religious education. After his habilitation in 1988 at the theological faculty of the University of Heidelberg , he received the venia legendi in July 1990 both for "religious education "at the Faculty of Education and for" Ecumenical Science "at the Faculty of Protestant Theology. Since 1992 he has been professor of religious education at the University of Hamburg.
