Wolfsberg is a district of the Upper Bavarian community Breitbrunn am Chiemsee in the district of Rosenheim .
history
The Bavarian original cadastre shows Wolfsberg in the 1810s as a hamlet with four farmsteads grouped around a pond . Today the pond is filled in and built over.
A farmstead from the 18th century with outbuildings has been preserved on site as a monument .
Since the building boom that began in the 1950s, Wolfsberg has grown more than twenty-fold in its settlement area of just under one hectare . The built-up area of the district today covers over 20 hectares and now extends to the banks of the Chiemsee at the Kailbacher Winkel .
