Wombo is a children's short film from 2013 by director Daniel Acht . He was first issued on 27 October 2013 as part of the ZDF telecast Siebenstein broadcast.
action
Wombo is an alien who has to make an emergency landing on earth. But here he has nothing to laugh about. First he is followed by the dog Bruno, who Wombo probably thinks is food. Then it almost ends up as a side dish in a vegetable soup! There is a simple reason for all of this: Wombo looks like a potato! In the event of danger, it retracts arms and legs so that it is really indistinguishable from a real potato. Wombo only escapes the vegetable soup because little Paula takes the "potato" from the kitchen table to play with. When Paula is called to lunch by her mother, Wombo sneaks away. But now he is back in Bruno's area. He escapes to his spaceship, where Paula unexpectedly helps him to get the key to get his vehicle afloat again so that he can fly back to his home.
