Daniela Knapp (born October 19, 1972 in Schwaz , Austria ) is an Austrian camerawoman .

Professional development

Daniela Knapp studied from 1992 at the film and television school Zelig in Bozen / Italy, then at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy camera. She graduated with a diploma and then worked mainly as a camerawoman for German cinema productions . She has often worked with the director Sven Taddicken .

While filming Der Stille Berg, Knapp was slightly injured in a lightning strike on the Valparola Pass in summer 2012, with several crew members and actors slightly injured.

Awards

In 2011 she was awarded the German Film Prize for her work on Chris Kraus ' historical film Poll .
