Woo Seung-jae (born July 26, 1986 ) is a South Korean wrestler . He won a bronze medal in the Greco-Roman style featherweight at the 2013 World Championships .

Career

Woo Seung-jae prefers the Greco-Roman style. He wrestles at featherweight and only played for South Korea at an international championship at the age of 24. His toughest competitor in South Korea is Jung Ji-hyun , whom he rarely got past.

His first start in an international championship was participation in the 2010 Asian Cup in New Delhi . He came in second behind the Chinese Shen Jiang . At the Asian Championships 2011 in Tashkent, he reached only 7th place in featherweight. Woo Seung-jae won a bronze medal at the 2012 Asian Championships in Gumi / South Korea. In the South Korean qualification for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, he failed to Jung Ji-hyun.

In September 2013 it was used for the first time at a world championship. In Budapest he fought for a bronze medal with victories over Kamran Mammadow , Azerbaijan, Tobias Fonnesbek, Denmark and Jesse David Thielke, United States, a defeat against Iwo Angelow , Bulgaria and a victory over Edward Barsegjan from Poland.
