World curling ranking
The World Curling Ranking List was created by the World Curling Federation (WCF) in 2006 in order to be able to better compare the success of the individual curling nations. Championships organized by the WCF, including the Olympic Winter Games , World Curling Championships and the Pacific Curling Championships, serve as the basis for calculating the number of points . The Swiss Patrick Hürlimann a former curler developed the point system for determining the curling world rankings.
