Worsiwka ( Ukrainian Ворсівка ; Russian Ворсовка Worsowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 370 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1649, another source mentions the year 1728, is the administrative center of the eponymous, 62.682 km² district council in the south of Malyn Rajon , to which the villages Wisnja ( Візня , ⊙ ) with about 110 inhabitants, Sybyn ( Зибин , ⊙ ) with about 50 population, Koroliwka ( Королівка , ⊙ ) with about 20 inhabitants and Rudnia-Horodyschtschenska ( Рудня-Городищенська , ⊙ ) include about 50 residents.
The village is located at an altitude of 149 m on the left bank of the Wisnja ( Візня ), a 45 km long right tributary of the Irscha , 10 km south of the district center of Malyn and about 85 km northeast of the Oblast center Zhytomyr .
The Church of St. Nicholas of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine , built in 1850, is located in Vorsivka . The T-06-08 territorial road runs through the village .
