criticism

The series has a Metascore of 62/100 at Metacritic based on 22 reviews. At TV.com the series has a rating of 7.6 / 10 based on 612 votes and at IMDb.com the series has a rating of 7.5 / 10 based on 547 votes.

Tim Goodman of the San Francisco Chronicle said, “While there are many hard-won (some would say forced) laughs, one has to wonder how they're going to keep the pace. After all, the British series only ran for two years with seven episodes per season ... So how does CBS plan to expand the series to over 22 episodes without thinning it out? ... In many ways it seems to have failed to produce an American version of Worst Week . "

"One of the worst new shows of the week."
