Wycliffe Kinyamal (born July 2, 1997 in the Trans Mara District ) is a Kenyan middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter run .
Athletic career
Wycliffe Kinyamal gained his first experience in international championships at the East African Junior Championships 2016 in Dar es Salaam , where he won the gold medal over 800 meters. Two years later, he qualified for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast , where he surprisingly won the gold medal in 1: 45.11 minutes ahead of British Kyle Langford .
