Xincheng (Xi'an)

The municipality of Xincheng ( 新 城区 , Xīnchéng Qū ) is a municipality in the sub-provincial city of Xi'an in the Chinese province of Shaanxi . It has an area of ​​31 square kilometers and has a population of around 470,000.

The former site of the Xi'an Office of the 8th March Army and the Yisushe Theater , which have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1988 and 2006, respectively, are located in the municipality .
