Huyi ( Chinese  鄠 邑 区 , Pinyin Hùyì Qū , formerly Hu County , Chinese  户县 , Pinyin Hù Xiàn ) is a municipality in the city of Xi'an in the northwestern Chinese province of Shaanxi . Huyi has an area of ​​1,213 km² and approx. 570,000 inhabitants (2004). Its main town is the Ganting (甘 亭 街道) street district.

The Sarira stupa of the Kumārajīva (鸠摩罗什 舍利 塔, Jiūmóluóshén shèlì tǎ ), the Gongshu Hall (公 输 堂, Gōngshū táng ), the Zu'an stelae forest of the Chongyang Temple (重阳宫 祖 庵碑林, Chóngyáng Gōng Zǔ'ān bēilín ), and the Song- era Jingde Pagoda (敬 德塔, Jìng dé tǎ ), which are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .

The place is considered the home of Chinese peasant painting.
