Yasar Erkan

Yaşar Erkan (born April 30, 1911 in Erzincan , † May 18, 1986 ) was a Turkish wrestler . He was the first Turkish wrestler to win gold at the Olympics.

At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin , he was featherweight (up to 61 kg) Olympic champion for Turkey.
