Yaa Avoe (born July 1, 1982 ) is a former Ghanaian soccer player .

Career

Avoe was used during her club career for the Ashtown Ladies (2003) and the Fabulous Ladies (2005-2009).

The 160 cm tall defender took part with the Ghanaian national team ("Black Queens") in the 2003 and 2007 World Championships and played six games. She was also at the African Championships in 2000 , 2002 , 2004 , 2006 , 2008 and 2010 in the Black Queens squad. At the end of September 2007, Avoe had played 23 international matches.
