Yanni Regäsel (born January 13, 1996 in Berlin ) is a German football player . He was most recently under contract with MSV Duisburg .

Career

Born in Berlin, he began his active career with the Reinickendorfer Füchsen and in 2005 moved to the youth department of Hertha BSC. He was active in its various junior teams until 2015 before moving up to the second team. After playing in the Bundesliga several times before , Regäsel made his debut on October 31, 2015 (11th matchday of the 2015/16 season ) when he played in the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach , which they lost 4-1 In the 78th minute, Valentin Stocker came on as a substitute.

In February 2016 Regäsel switched to league competitor Eintracht Frankfurt , with whom he signed a contract that ran until June 2019. After Regäsel had not once belonged to the squad in the 2017/18 season , his contract was terminated on March 13, 2018 by mutual agreement.

For the second division season 2018/19 Regäsel signed a contract with MSV Duisburg with the option of one more season. After the MSV was relegated to the 3rd division , the defender's contract was not extended in spring 2019.
