Yannick dos Santos Djaló (born May 5, 1986 in Bissau , Guinea-Bissau ) is a Portuguese football player . He is a striker and mostly active in midfield.

Career

Sporting's B team

Yannick Djaló played mostly in the Puma Academy in Lisbon , like others before him, for example. B. Miguel Veloso , Cristiano Ronaldo or Luís Figo .

society

He previously played at Sporting Clube de Portugal and Casa Pia Atlético Clube . On January 30, 2012, he signed a contract with Benfica Lisbon until the end of the 2015/16 season . Shortly before the end of the transfer on August 31, 2012, Yannick was loaned to the French first division club FC Toulouse for a year . The agreed purchase option was not drawn by Toulouse FC, so he returned to Benfica in the summer of 2013.

On March 10, 2014 Djaló was loaned again to the US team San José Earthquakes .

National team

Djaló has already worked in various youth teams in Portugal. On September 3, 2010, he made his debut for the Portuguese national team in a game against Cyprus.

Private

Djaló has been married to the Portuguese actress Luciana Abreu since May 2010 . Together they have two daughters (Lyonce Viiktórya and Lyani Viiktórya).
