action
Elif is a married woman who has just surprised her husband how he is cheating on her. Ali is an investor who is on the verge of closing a big deal with promising profit - but high risk. The two bump into each other in the bookstore when they buy the book Yeşil Işık . When Ali lost all his money in the stock market after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 , he suffered a heart attack. At the same time, Elif is found unconscious by a friend. Ali and Elif are admitted to the same hospital at the same time, whereupon Ali dies.
Ali goes to heaven, but he refuses to enter. However, he cannot return to earth for a new life either because his body has been buried and his liver has been transplanted. Yakup, who had already observed him during his earthly existence, offers Ali to be his guardian angel. Through him, Ali learns that Elif received his liver. The only way to get the liver back is to kill Elif.
Meanwhile, Elif, who mourns the death of her mother, tries to commit suicide, but is saved by Ali. After spending the day together, Yakup warns Ali that it is worsening his chances of returning to earth. Ali promises to kill Elif after a date, but he doesn't have the heart. Instead, they fall in love and drive to a hill in the hope of seeing the green light described in the book. When Ali is given the choice by Yakup of saving himself or Elif, he sacrifices himself for her. But since their love was real, Ali comes back to life. Elif, on the other hand, has no memories of what happened.
