Reviews
“Year of the Horse” received mostly positive reviews.
- "Indie star director Jim Jarmusch lavishly portrays the great 'Year of the Horse' world tour of rock legend Neil Young and his band Crazy Horse: full of sound with spectacular concert scenes, weird interviews and unforgettable backstage impressions."
- “The result is not a documentary about a rock band on tour, but an homage, a declaration of love to a large live band. ... [You can] just close your eyes and feel transported straight from the cinema seat to a concert hall. You can't expect more from a concert film. "
