Yoo Jin-sun ( kor. 유진선 ; born July 12, 1962 in Seocheon , Chungcheongnam-do ) is a former South Korean tennis player .

Career

Yoo Jin-sun could not achieve any major successes on the ATP Challenger Tour or higher in his career . He was also never able to qualify for Grand Slam tournaments .

At the 1986 Asian Games , Yoo Jin-sun succeeded in winning the gold medal in all the disciplines in which he competed. He won the singles, doubles, mixed and team competitions.

He participated in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul . In the opening round of the individual competition he was defeated by the Israeli Amos Mansdorf in three sets and was eliminated. In the doubles competition , he and Kim Bong-soo were eliminated in the first round. He and Kim succumbed to the Indians Anand and Vijay Amritraj in three sentences.

Yoo Jin-sun played a total of 17 games for the South Korean Davis Cup team between 1984 and 1990 . Both his individual balance of 8: 5 and his double balance of 10: 6 are positive.
