The Yorma's AG (proper spelling Yorma's ) is a German restaurant chains, which was founded in 1985 by Yorma Eberl. The stock corporation (since 2001) has its headquarters in Plattling (Lower Bavaria) and maintains 59 branches nationwide with, according to its own information, over 150,000 customers every day.
The operations are managed centrally. The company's branches are located in or in the immediate vicinity of train stations and often have a small supermarket with convenience products in addition to transport catering (snack bars) . The largest turnover is achieved with walk-in customers (rail travelers). Most of the branches exist in Bavaria, but a nationwide expansion policy is being pursued. The greatest density of branches can be found in Munich with 5 branches. The first 10 branches were Plattling (1985), Erlangen and Coburg (1990), Darmstadt and Heilbronn (1995), Mainz and Stuttgart (1998), Nuremberg (1999) and Munich and Ingolstadt (2000).
