Yunli Schreiner - maiden name Qiao Yunli - (born February 20, 1965 in Qingdao ) is a German table tennis Bundesliga player of Chinese origin. With FC Langweid she was German champion six times, won the ETTU Cup once and twice the European Cup , the predecessor of today's Champions League .

Some sources give February 23, 1965 as the date of birth.

Career

In 1990 Yunli Schreiner moved to Germany and joined the Bundesliga club Rot-Weiß Klettham-Erding . With its women's team, she won the ETTU Cup in 1994, 1997 and 1998 .

In April 1993 she married the German table tennis player Ralf Schreiner, the former Bundesliga player and Bavarian champion. She has had German citizenship since August 2, 1995.

In 1998 she moved to Bundesliga club FC Langweid . With this she became German team champion in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2006. In 1999 the team won the ETTU Cup , in 2004 and 2005 the European Cup (now the Champions League). When the association's financial problems became apparent, Yunli Schreiner joined the Spanish association Cartagena in 2006. She later played in France for the Metz TT club, with whom she won the European Cup in 2018 .

Table tennis family

Yunli Schreiner comes from a table tennis family and married into one. She still has five siblings, her sister Qiao Yunping won the doubles title at the 1993 World Cup and the 1995 title with the team. Her husband Ralf Schreiner (* 1969) was Bavarian champion and Bundesliga player in 1993. Son Florian (* 1995) is a youth national player, was German youth champion in 2013 and plays with SC Fürstenfeldbruck in the 2nd Bundesliga (as of 2015). Daughter Franziska took part in the unofficial European championships for young talents under the age of 12 in 2015 and currently (2018) plays in the Bundesliga for TV Busenbach .
