Yvan Perrin (born December 9, 1966 in Fleurier ; resident in Provence ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ). From 2003 to 2013 he was a member of the National Council. In May 2013 he was elected to the State Council of the Canton of Neuchâtel , in June 2014 he resigned for health reasons.

Yvan Perrin lives in La Côte-aux-Fées in Neuchâtel . He worked as a police inspector for the Neuchâtel canton police.

Yvan Perrin began his political career in 2000 when he was in the council was from La Côte-aux-Fées chosen which he belonged by 2010. In the parliamentary elections in 2003 he was elected to the National Council as representative of the canton of Neuchâtel and confirmed in the parliamentary elections in 2007 and 2011 . In 2006, the SVP's assembly of delegates elected him as its vice-president as the representative of French-speaking Switzerland . He wanted to resign from this position in June 2010 after his party did not take a clear position on the “ UBS ” international treaty between Switzerland and the USA. After talks with the party leadership, he postponed his resignation as Vice President until the parliamentary elections in autumn 2011. From 2001 to 2013 and from 2016 to 2017 he was President of the SVP of the Canton of Neuchâtel.

On May 19, 2013 Perrin was elected to the State Council of the Canton of Neuchâtel. This was the first time that a representative of the SVP was able to join the canton's executive branch. He gave up his seat on the National Council on August 31, 2013. In the State Council, Perrin took over the department for spatial planning and the environment. After multiple burn-out cases, he announced his resignation on June 16, 2014 with immediate effect.

In the National Council elections in autumn 2019, Yvan Perrin ran again for the SVP, but the SVP lost its only seat.
