Yvette Lewis
Yvette Lewis (born March 16, 1985 in Newport News ) is an American triple jumper and hurdler .
In 2006 she became NCAA indoor triple jump champion. The following year she was NCAA outdoor champion and US runner-up in this discipline. At the 2007 Pan-American Games in Rio de Janeiro, she was sixth in the triple jump and eighth in the 100-meter hurdles .
In 2011, she won the Pan American Games in Guadalajara over the 100 m hurdles, won silver with the US team in the 4 x 100 meter relay and was seventh in the triple jump. Yvette Lewis has been allowed to start for Panama since 2013 . She also represented this country at the 2016 Olympic Games . Yvette Lewis graduated from Hampton University in 2007 .
